NOAH OSWALD (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN by accident, but it has been the best part of the day ever since! I joined thinking the class was a designated period to work on the then-Athletic Internship (now 1Rebel Productions). But I jumped headfirst into the world of VNN, and it is now the favorite thing in the world. Being in VNN has opened a world of opportunities, along with other activities like Youth Leadership Vestavia Hills. I am excited for the opportunities that are available to me this year. And I cannot wait for VNN State. Somebody get a broom because VNN is coming to sweep!
EK SIMPSON (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN because I loved watching the show and I wanted to be involved it something that seemed so fun. I'm really involved in Youth Leadership and In my free time I'm either hanging out with my friends or taking photos. I'm most excited to take pictures at the basketball games and particpate in ASPA this year.
CHRISTIAN LUTTRELL

I wanted to know how to do camera work for a possible future in sports broadcasting. I am excited to anything sports related.
KATHRYN ELLIS (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I was interested in joining VNN so that I can understand the behind the scenes experience involved in the production side of broadcasting and journalism. I have enjoyed learning about video editing because it taught me how to create videos that flow together. I have also gotten the opportunity to become a sports photography intern which is interesting because you are on the sidelines or near the action.

I've always had a passion for filmmaking, cinematography, and video editing. I joined this class in the hopes that I could use my interests in an academic setting and hopefully learn more about what I love doing.

LIBBY SOONG (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN because I have enjoyed creating movies since I was young. I really enjoy editing videos. Outside of VNN, I am a member of VHHS's math team, mock trial team, Youth Leadership, and RISE. In my freetime, I enjoy reading and crocheting. I am excited to learn more about using cameras, and I am excited to be an intern!
HARRISON GILDER (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I joined VNN because I wanted to do sports photography, and that's what I enjoy doing most. At the school, I am also involved in SGA.
AUBRIE KATE ATKINSON (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I joined VNN so that I could explore photography and editing. I love filming the daily announcements with my team every day. Being an intern has taught me so much about production and film. I am involved in Show Choir, Ambassadors, and Vestavia Belles. I am also very excited for ASPA this year!
ARIANA SALAS (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I joined VNN to get more experience in broadcasting and TV production. I enjoy being apart of a team and contributing ideas towards the show. I am apart of the 1Rebel Productions team and I love spending time with my family and friends. I am excited for ASPA and being apart of VNN this year.
GRACE ANN SWIFT (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I joined VNN because I want to work for ESPN one day! I had loved meeting new friends, working on videos, being apart of the sports team, Mrs. Jailet, and going to ASPA! I am also a VHHS football cheerleader, an SGA Representative, Diamond Doll, member of Rebel Up, and Youth Leadership! I love hanging out with family at the beach or the lake, and I also love attending all Auburn sporting events! I am so excited to continue our new sports show and go to ASPA!
ELLA TAYLOR (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN because I love taking pictures, filming videos, and editing, so I thought it would be a cool oppurtunity to learn how to get better at these things. The thing I enjoy most in VNN is filming announcments, segments, and reels. I am in the band and in my freetime I like to play hockey and I am a counselor at ATB during the school year and Kids Kamp during the summer at my church. I am excited for ASPA and being apart of VNN this year.

I joined VNN because my older brother Lawson was in it and I had to be better than him. I enjoy being an anchor and interviewing important people. In my free time I like to go to church and work out at planet fitness. I am excited for ASPA at the end of the year.

I joined VNN to learn how to film videos and make graphics. I like making the graphics and running the show. In my free time, I like to make music and hang out with my friends. I am excited to go to ASPA this year.

I joined VNN for the fun projects and activities and camera filming stuff and all of the different things. I am excited for videoing and doing fun activities and fun segments and stuff.
Sophomores
CAROLINE BISHOP (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN out of my passion for the broadcasting, producing and the photography world! I love getting to be a producer for my team and getting to manage the tasks of what we do everyday! I am involved as a 1Rebel Productions intern, I work closely with photography with the football team, I am on New Student Committee and Rebel Up Club, as well as I am involved in the VHHS Choral Department. I am most excited for our trip back to ASPA!
PERRON CRIGLER
Years in VNN: 2nd year
I joined VNN because I want to work in sports broadcasting. I enjoy talking sports and making edits in VNN. I enjoy playing lacrosse for Vestavia and Fantasy Football Club. I joined VNN with hopes of eventually working for ESPN.
JACKSON MIKOS (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I joined VNN because the class sounded fun and I thought I would enjoy it. I love broadcasting the games as an intern. In my freetime I normally bake. My favorite thing to bake is gluten free crumble cookies (sugar of course). I am excited to film games and be an anchor in the daily show.
HENRY WALTHCHACK

I joined VNN to learn how to operate and film using cameras, so far I have learned lots and am excited to learn lots more. I am on the morning broadcast team in 7th period everyday. I am excited to film the show everyday.

I'm involved in Show Choir, Just Singin', Theater, and VNN! I joined VNN my freshman year because I thought it sounded like a really fun class! I didn't really know what I was going to do, and so I joined this class at the last minute! I'm so glad I did! I love the community in VNN, everyone is super sweet and talented! I'm excited for the more advanced class, meeting new people, and pushing myself in editing skills and filming.

I joined VNN because I was really excited to try the internship. My favorite thing about VNN is going to ASPA and hanging out with everyone. During my freetime I hang out with friends, play soccer, and take pictures.

I joined VNN because my friend was in the class and said it was te best class ever. I was also intrested in learnng how to use the media equitment. In my free time I am a part of the VHHS football cheer team, 1 Rebel Productions, Vestavia Belles, Cheer Coach, and the Miss Ultimate USA pagent system.
Bennett Gwaltney (1REBEL PRODUCTIONS INTERN)

I enjoy using the tech to film different projects, and I would love to have a carrer in sports broadcasting.

I joined VNN because of my interest in content and media. As I aspire to be a content creator later in life, I felt that joining this class would help me develop my strengths in areas such as camera work, microphones, lighting, and more. I truly enjoy working on small projects and learning about real-world applications, as seen in my resume and portfolio. I like how it helps us get started early and prepare us for the opportunities that come my way.

I want to get into video production and writing because I love TV! I'm a member of the band (tuba player) and I like to develop worlds for a book/TV show I want to make in my free time.

I joined VNN because I have always loved making and editing video, so I knew I would love this class! I love taking pictures at the football games and hearing everyone cheer for our amazing team. I am a P/R intern so I work on social media and sports media! In my free time I do a lot of crafts like painting, bedazzling, and making bracelets. I am most excited to work at more sports events!
MILO ULATOWSKI

I joined VNN because I've had an interest in media production for the majority of my life, and I enjoy working with cameras and accomplishing tasks involving a team effort. In my freetime, I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking, and swimming. I am excited for the new opportunities in making friends, completing projects with an emphasis on collaboration, and having fun.
